TOKYO — Oct. 27, 2021 — Broadleaf Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo; President: Kenji Oyama) and Toyota Finance Corporation (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi; President: Toshiyuki Nishi) have agreed to start a collaboration to realize mobility financial services mainly for the automotive aftermarket*.

The purpose of this collaboration is to provide optimal services to individual car users by linking Broadleaf Cloud Platform, a digital business platform developed and provided by Broadleaf, with Toyota Finance's Mobility Financial Services.
This is the first time for Toyota Finance to provide financial services in Japan outside of the Toyota Group. Through this collaboration and other new opportunities that may arise, Toyota Finance will continue to work to create and strengthen points of contact with all Toyota customers.
With this partnership, Broadleaf will provide new financial services by utilizing its settlement gateway on the Broadleaf Cloud Platform developed by Broadleaf. Through this initiative, Broadleaf aims to provide highly convenient financial services to car owners and further expand the functions of the cloud services Broadleaf provides.

Specifically, Toyota Finance will provide financial services related to automobile sales and maintenance through Broadleaf's network of aftermarket automobile businesses, including automobile maintenance partners. By linking Toyota Finance's financial services with the cloud services for aftermarket automotive businesses built on the Broadleaf Cloud Platform, Broadleaf and Toyota Finance made it possible for aftermarket automotive businesses to apply for loans for the purchase of used vehicles and for vehicle inspections and servicing.

Broadleaf and Toyota Finance also aim to contribute to a prosperous automotive society by providing highly convenient financial services to Toyota and other car owners. The service is scheduled to be launched next spring, and preparations are currently underway.

Furthermore, Broadleaf plans to be the first company in the automotive industry to offer shareholder benefits to Broadleaf shareholders through TOYOTA Wallet, a payment application provided by the Toyota Group. Going forward, Broadleaf and Toyota Finance will continue to collaborate by leveraging their respective strengths to provide customers with opportunities to experience the joy of living and traveling, along with other additional attractive services.
